Prime Minister Ali Mujawar opened on
Wednesday a number of telecommunication projects worth over YR 1.5 billion in
Mukalla city of Hadramout.
The projects included establishing
fiber-optic paths "messaging network" with an area of 450 Km in
addition to expansion for other fiber-optic paths in the governorate.Other projects were also opened for
expanding central networks in Mukalla, Foah and al-Shahr.General Director of
Telecommunication and Information Technology Ministry office in Hadramout Ali
al-Aidarous said that about 30 projects have been accomplished in 2010 with a
total cost reach roughly YR1.6 billion financed by the government Mujawar also inaugurated a project
of Information Technology Center
in Hadramout University of Sciences and Technology amounting to YR 568 million.Furthermore, the Premier laid the
foundation stone for projects of Administrative
Sciences College
in Hadramout University
and Sport City in the governorate with an
estimated cost reach YR 2.5 billion financed by the government.
