Yemen, US held talks on security cooperation

Yemen and the United States held on Thursday talks over cooperation between the two countries in security field.
The talks gathered Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr al-Qirib, Director of the presidential office Ali al-Ansi and Chief of the General Staff Maj. Gen. Ahmed Ali al-Ashwal from the Yemeni side and US Senate Delegation led by Chairman of the Armed Services Committee Senator Carl Levin.The talks took place in Yemen's Ministry of Defense.
While the Yemeni officials valued the current relations between the two friendly countries, the US senate delegation praised Yemen's efforts either in combating terrorism or securing the international navigation route
