VP opens health specialist centers in al-Jimhouri Hospital

Vice President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi inaugurated on Monday health specialist centers in al-Jimhouri Educational Hospital in Sana'a.
The centers include centers for ophthalmology, dental surgery, a unit for Kidney stones fragmentation by shock waves, urinary tract endoscopy, laboratory-General, emergency department and national center to fight AIDS.The total cost of the centers reach YR1.1 billion financed by the capital investment program.The inauguration was attended by the Chinese Vice Minister of Health Zhang Mao, who voiced his happiness to present medical equipment as a gift from the Chinese government to Yemen.He pointed to the Chinese medical teams, which have been working in Yemen for a long time and have enjoyed the care of the Yemeni government and people.He talked about the health cooperation relations link Yemen and China and develop incessantly via the medical teams visiting Yemen's hospitals, including the recent team that will perform over 200 operations in eye diseases in al-Jimhouri Educational Hospital in Sana'a and al-Thawra Hospital in Taiz governorate.
He also indicated to the role of the Chinese team in training the Yemeni medical cadres in eye surgery specialty.
