An expanded meeting in Mukalla discusses issues of reconstruction

Hadramout's Governor Salem Ahmed al-khanbashi chaired an expanded meeting today in Mukalla that will discus issues of reconstruction in the Coastal provinces.
Present in the meeting meeting were local authority leadership from the province, managers, Coastal Districts Director Generals, Reconstruction Fund Administration from provinces of Hadramout,Al- Mahara and Mukalla Branch. The meeting was devoted to view the work already done by the reconstruction fund in terms of paying compensation payment to those affected by disaster, rain and floods in October 2008. The compensation is related to buildings collapsed partially, completely and the damage that occurred in both fish and agriculture sectors as well as the efforts of the reconstruction fund in the rehabilitating the urban roads and infrastructure. The meeting also addressed and discussed future Fund mechanisms and controls and its plan for this year. Finding relationship coordination and integration between the Fund and the local authority in the districts so as to contribute to the accomplish its tasks and work assigned to it. This is accordance to the list of priorities identified by the Board Management at its meeting held in Seiyoun city, in the month of April this year.month,
