Former U.S. envoy visits Aden Free Zone

Director of the Aden Free Zone Abdul Jalil al Shuaibi met on Saturday with former U.S. ambassador to Yemen Barbara Bodine who is currently visiting Yemen's business capital to have an idea about facilities provided for foreign investors.
Al Shuaibi briefed Bodine on various activities at the Aden Free Zone and facilities provided for investors.Bodine underlined the significant economic role played by free trade zones, as she said that Aden's strategic position is a national and natural wealth that should be invested in the best interest of the Yemeni people and in the development of the Aden Free Zone, said Bodine.
"Aden Airport and Aden Terminal should contribute to boosting Yemen's economy along with oil exports that no longer help tackle Yemen's economic woes".
