Mujawar, Niebel talks on challenges Yemen faces

Yemen and Germany reviewed on Sunday the economic, development and security challenges face Yemen.
This came in a meeting gathered Prime Minister Ali Mujawar with Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany Dirk Niebel, who currently visiting Yemen.
Mujawar and Niebel also touched on the policies, programs and plans implemented by the government to tackle the challenges in collaboration with Yemen's key development partners including Germany.
The meeting also dealt with the national reforms agenda and the relevant achievements in areas of economy, finance, administration, judiciary, transparency and fighting corruption.
Mujawar stressed the specialty of the Yemeni-German cooperation especially in development field, expressing his appreciation of the German role in supporting the development in Yemen, particularly in fields of education, water, irrigation and good governance.
He pinned his hopes to strengthen the German role in future along with the international community role in propping up Yemen's economy and development on the light of the fourth five-year plan for economic and social development to enhance the government efforts to handle the current challenges, especially uprooting terrorism which is connected directly with economic difficulties.For his part, the German Minister affirmed the joint keenness on boosting up the cooperation between Germany and Yemen, pointing to the continuous progress in the mutual relations in all development and economic fields.
