Tens bodies of Africans found on Yemen coasts

Search team of Yemeni Coastguard in Aden have found bodies of 17 African infiltrators were among 37 whose boat sank on January 1 off Bab al-Mandab area,Taiz province, the 26sep.net reported on Saturday. Director-General of Operations in the Coastguard Shoga'a Eldeen Mahdi said that 11 bodies have been found during the recent three days on the cost of Khor Omariah in Lahj province. The other bodies have been found by the coastguards' search teams and Yemeni fishermen, noting that the search process is underway for the rest of bodies.In related news, Interior Minister has reported that the security services in Lahj province have found bodies of nine Ethiopian infiltrators bounced by waves of the sea to the shore of al-Shat district.The security services told the Ministry's Information Center that the nine Ethiopians were among 40 Ethiopians whose boat drowned in al-Aridh area off Thubab coast of Taiz province on January 2.In addition, the security services said that 13 bodies of them were found last Wednesday bringing the number of Ethiopians, whose bodies have been found, to 22 persons, while the search for the bodies of others is ongoing.Thousands of Africans, mainly from Ethiopia and Somalia, flee to Yemen every year crossing in shabby and overcrowded vessels run by smugglers.
