Yemen, EU discuss preparations for Friends' meeting

Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met here on Saturday with Head of the European Union (EU)'s mission to Yemen Michele Cervone D'urso In the meeting, al-Qirbi and D'urso discussed arrangements for the visit of the European Commission's Head for Humanitarian Aid, as well as preparations for the visit of a European technical delegation on airport security.They also touched upon the underway preparations for the ministerial meeting of Yemen's Friends Group scheduled to be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, in next March.In this regard, the two sides stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between Yemen and the EU and the need to prepare properly for the Riyadh meeting in order come up with the desired results.
