Local water and sanitation Institution - Hadhramout coast Board of Directors at its fourth meeting held yesterday reviewed plan and program to celebrate its first jubilee since it was established.
The meeting was held in Mukalla under the chairmanship of Governor Salim Ahmed Al-khanbashi
. The preparation will have many activities and events, Including a handbook that gives dates of the institution. It highlights the developments and its expansions which was witnessed by the water sector in areas of Hadhramout coast. There will be a joint seminar to be held between the Institution, General Authority for Water Resources and Hadhramout University for Science and Technology. It will be on water sources, its strategic conservation, sustainability of delivering water supply and improve the services provided to citizens as well as to honor the leaders and cadres, retirees who have served the institution. Also it will organize different activities of Culture and sports.The meeting also reviewed the work program of the Executive, operational performance, plan training, rehabilitation, maintenance program, operation of the institution for the first half of the year 2010. In addition to scenarios and projects for the plan duration of the investment program, operational work, maintenance program, operating plan of training and qualification for next year in 2011. Also preparations for the institution to meet its requirements next summer that will secure the delivery of water supply to citizens.
