In a speech delivered by deputy Foreign Minister Ali Muthana Hassan in the 3rd Bali Forum for Democracy, held in the Indonesian city of Bali on December 09-10, he emphasized the importance of strengthening the democratic process by states and its impacts on economic and social development.The Yemeni official said that his country was keen to share experiences and best democratic practices with various countries, pointing out that the economic development remains the biggest challenge facing Yemen.He added that the government is working intensively with the Friends of Yemen to activate donor pledges and obligations towards Yemen in order to strengthen democracy and achieve security and stability in full.
