The National Democratic Institute (NDI) Director Resident Heather Therrien has praised the democratic experience in Yemen. During her meeting with Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Hisham Sharaf, Therrien assured the Institute's keenness to provide all possible technical assistance to enhance the capabilities of political development and democracy in Yemen.In return, Sharaf pointed to the government's current and future trends to upgrade the political development, which is a part of system to improve the Yemeni society.He asserted the Yemen's keenness to avail from the IND expertise in enhancing democratic and political aspects
