Mohammad: Depending on the outsiders on solving Yemen's issue fatal error

President's Advisor Salem Saleh Mohammad renewed warning on changing Yemen's land into another Pakistan in the framework of war against terrorism. In an interview with UAE based Al- Khaleej Newspaper, Mohammad said American or non American military forces are never accepted in Yemen. He warned against using US unmanned jets to follow the pattern of Pakistan and Afghanistan as this does not serve the war against terrorism.He affirmed that some al-Qaeda's operations' timings and plots reflect intelligence cooking serving the interests of super powers.Mohammad talked about many internal issues, especially the political problem after hindering the process of the dialogue between the General People Congress and the Joint Meeting Parties. He asserted that depending on Gulf States on solving Yemen's internal issues must be avoided.
On the elections after hindering the national dialogue, he said he is waiting for a miracle to happen as there is still only five months for holding the elections. He added that he expected the failure of the dialogue a year ago because no party works for the interest of the country and they only seek their interests.
He further said the ruling party will enter the parliamentary elections alone and that any solutions with the opposition will not be crucial unless there is national dialogue. Yemen cannot overcome its challenges and obstacles only by national consensus.On national solutions to the political differences, he said there are perspectives and visions on international level besides there are suggestions from the European Union and the United States. It is possible to return to these suggestions if there is confidence, transparency and aspirations for the supreme national interests from active political parties.Regarding the current situation of Yemen, especially in the south, he said, any situation in the real life must be handled through dialogue and abandoning violence and extremism not using force as political solutions. What is happening in the south was the results of 1994 war that affected the unity path and the authority delayed in solving these bad results.
In respect to Houthis and the latest agreement with them, he said we demand using the dialogue approach and we encouraged the two parts reached despite all difficulties on the ground and returning to force, violence and war as solutions to political differences.Over labeling Yemen as a country hosting terrorism, namely al-Qaeda and foreign military existence in Yemen, he said Yemen will never accept American and non-American military existence. He argued on drying up extremism and terrorism sources via eradicating unemployment, poverty, disease and backwardness. He also argued on taking care of young people and fighting corruption which is most dangerous than terrorism.In respect to Gulf Cup 20 championship, he said the success of this activity will help opening new horizons in bilateral relations with gulf countries. Improving these relations depends on the government's ability and decision makers. He evaluated the relations between Yemen and the United Arab Emirates as successful in all fields.
