Yemen takes part in chemical weapons prohibition conference in Holland

Yemen has renewed its call to make the Middle East region free of weapons of mass destruction, out of which are chemical weapons.
This came in its speech delivered on Monday by Yemen ambassador to the Netherlands Najeeb Ubeid who is the permanent representative of Yemen to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in the 15TH session of the member states in the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons kicked off today in The Hague.Ubeid indicated that Yemen is one of the first countries who approved the prohibition convention which makes clear evidence that Yemen is a peaceful country rejecting all forms of terrorism, calling to concentrate efforts of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to support Yemen.
He also reviewed cooperation areas of Yemen with the Organization, expressing hope that such of kind of cooperation will lead to deep-routed ties serving the global peace and harmony
