Yemen to host int'l conference for WHO Mideast countries

Yemen will host on Saturday the 1st international conference for the World Health Organization for the Middle East Countries under the slogan "Education Quality and Academic Accreditation for Various Health Professions. Rector of the University of Sciences and Technology Hameed Aqlan, chairman of the conference, said that the four-day conference will discuss a number of axles topped by requirements of the academic accreditation, accreditation of medical education in the Arab world, evaluation of medical education and integrative medical education in comparison with traditional medical education, in addition to developing curricula.
The conference is organized in cooperation with the University of Sciences and Technology, WHO and World Federation for Medical Education (WFME
