President performs Eid prayer in al-Janad Mosque

President Ali Abdullah Saleh along with top officials in Taiz governorate performed on Tuesday Eid al-Adha prayer in al-Janad Mosque.
In the Eid prayer's sermon, cleric Zaid al-Mahqiri talked about Hajj (pilgrimage) and its importance in the Muslim's life.He talked about the sacrifice (an animal such as a sheep, camel, or goat) Muslims slaughter in Eid al-Adha obeying Allah's command, saying that the sacrifice should be in a good condition and health as "Allah the almighty is good and accepts only that which is good.Referring to the Prophet Mohammed (PBOH) last sermon in Farwell Hajj, the cleric talked about how sacred is a Muslim's life and property as the prophet said: "O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust".He called Muslims to seize this holy occasion to visit their relatives, especially women, to forgive each others and to forget all disagreements.
