Yemen seals $ 12-million grant in WB aid for public budget

Yemen and the World Bank reached on Monday an agreement under which the Bank will provide a $ 12-million grant in support for the public budget in the country.
The agreement was signed by Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation for Project Programming Abdullah al Shatir and the Bank's representative Ray.The Bank allocated $ 70 million in financial assistance to the state budget last week, as it urged the government to do more to bring about effective financial and administrative reforms.
