Saudi authorities release 13 Yemeni fishermen

Saudi authorities have released about 13 Yemeni fishermen after being detained for a week, Interior Ministry said on Monday. The fishermen said that the Saudi marine forces have detained them since November 5, while they were fishing in the international waters in an area between Thu Thelath Island and Thu Hirab Island, according to the ministry.
The Saudi authorities have confiscated two boats, and departed the fishermen via al-Ttiwal border outlet.The competent authorities in Yemen have initiated an investigation to unveil the incident circumstances.
