Hadhramaut Undersecretary for Technical Affairs,
Eng / Fahad Saeed Al-Menhali inspected a number of development projects in the
area (Wadi Hemam) of rural Mukalla's District.
This
development project cost was estimated 7 billion and 432, 872 thousand riyals
and 43 thousand and 529 euros, including 47 kms. Road of Wadi Hemam – Al-mesnad
running from Theleh Village to Al-hesey, financed by Rural Development Roads
Project at a cost of billion riyals.
During his visit the Undersecretary was shown around the Wadi Hemam dam project, which
comes within the eight dams to reserve rainwater and take use the water in agricultural
development areas. The estimated total cost of the eight dams is $ 30 million,
equivalent to more than 6 billion riyals with funds coming from the Arab Fund
for Development and Social for Economy. The estimated capacity for this Wadi
Hemam Dams is 2,129, 270 thousand cubic
meters.
In his tour Mr.
Al-menhali was accompanied by Director-General - Office of the Ministry of
Public Works and Highways Hadhramout Coast, Engineer / Mubarak Mohamed Mutaafi,
Director General Office of the Ministry of Legal Affairs Engineer / Mohammed
Salem Ba-hebri, General Manager Office of the Ministry of Petroleum and
Minerals Mr. Abdul-salaam Ba-aboud and general manager branch of the General
Authority for Investment coast of Hadramout, Dr. / Mohammed Saleh Al-Awwadi.
