GPC, Chinese Communist Party hold talks

A talks session was held on Wednesday in Sana'a between the General People's Congress (GPC) and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) over reinforcing cooperation aspects and exchanging expertise between the two parties within the signed protocol between them. The talks also discussed coordination of stances of both countries with regard to the different international issues, in addition to activating role of the two parties to contribute to expanding the current cooperation between the two countries and encouraging investments in the industrial and agricultural fields, and oil and minerals exploration as well.The two parties thrashed out strengthening partnership in combating terrorism and sea piracy and protecting the international navigation lines in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden as well as preserving security and stability in the Horn of Africa.The session was co-chaired by the GPC Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Foreign Relations Sultan al-Barakani and the CCP Secretary of the Committee.
