In a majestic funeral procession that was held on Thursday evening after Ishaa prayer, Seiyoun bid farewell to the first yemeni farmer Mahfouz Baifteim.

Leading the funeral procession was Hadhramout Undersecretary for Wadi and Sahraa Affairs Omaier Mbarark Omaier, several Members from Seiyoun District local council, a number of sheikhs and dignitaries of Wadi Hadhramaut and a large crowd packed into Masjid Jaamee Seiyoun and its precincts His body was put to rest at Hassan Moula Kheila Cemetry in Seiyoun city
