Arab aviation community backs Yemen's efforts in combating terrorism

The Arab aviation community has announced its support to Yemen's efforts in combating terrorism, following the raised media hype on the discovery of two parcels containing explosive materials. This came in a statement issued by heads of officials of the Arab civil aviation authorities and companies on the sidelines of the Doha Aviation Summit 2010, which was concluded Monday in the Qatari capital, Doha.Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Chairman Abdul Aziz al-Noaimi said," Although we have great trust in Yemeni procedures, we are ready to provide help and support to our brothers in Yemen in case they needs it in their war against terrorism". " Yemen will have all support from the Arab world, especially that we have the expertise to help them because the threat is to all countries", al-Noaimi added ,pointing out that the nature of this support is up to brothers in Yemen to specify what they need in this aspect.The Doha Aviation Summit 2010 was held over two days, with participation of 200 personalities from heads, officials and representatives of aviation authorities and international airlines in 35 countries.The summit discussed the challenges facing the air transport, including terrorist threats and ways to elaborate a strategic
