With U.S. cooperation, field training program for epidemiology in Yemen

Yemen and the U.S. signed here on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding for the establishment of a field training program for epidemiology in Yemen. The program will train at least 600 Yemeni cadres from various central levels, provinces and districts.This program is the fourth one of its kind in the countries of the region, after its implementation in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Abdul-Karim Rase'a and for the U.S. side Head of Public Health Systems and Human Resource Development at the Diseases Control Center for in Atlanta, Dr. Henry Wok
