Yemen chairs 43rd Supreme Audit Institutions meeting in Riyadh

The 43rd meeting of the Executive Council and 10th Regular Session of the General Assembly of the Arab Group of Supreme Audit Institutions began on Sunday headed by Yemen Central Organization for Control and Auditing (COCA) Chairman Abdullah al-Sanafi.
The 4-day meeting aims to enhance the joint Arab cooperation in the field of financial control and auditing to achieve an advanced level in integrity and transparency comparable to the developed countries.
Chairman of COCA Abdullah al-Sanafi said in his speech that the meeting confirms the importance of the continuity of joint Arab cooperation and exchanging experiences and knowledge.For his part, head of Saudi Arabia delegation and Chairman of General Auditing Bureau (GAB) Osama bin Ja'afar confirmed the importance of the meeting and topics which would be discussed to come out with results contributing to enhancing financial control bodies.He briefed that the meeting's agenda includes many active topics and future programs which aim to enable the Arab group to keep up with the latest developments in the area auditing.The meeting will discuss a number of issues topped by General Secretariat's reports, the final account and the 2011-2013 budget.
