Workshop for tourism ends with Omaier and suspend hunting for five years

Workshop on (the development of tourism in Wadi Hadhramaut present and future), today morning concluded its activities in Seiyoun.
Participants recommended on the necessity of activating Nature
Reserve project in Wadi Hadhramaut and spreading the culture of
eco-tourism among the citizens.They requested the Government to reduce electricity tariff and water for facilities, establishm small enterprises in handicrafts, silver, conducting long and short training targeting all those working in the field of tourism and hotels. The government should also raise awareness of cultural tourism among the citizens and the intensification of advertising Wadi and Yemen tourism sector on the satellite channels, Internet and selecting advertising material that are effective and highlight positive sides of it.. It also emphasized on opening new markets in order to promote Yemen in general and Wadi Hadramout in Particular as well to reduce the manifestations of begging in some areas frequented by tourists. The raising of awarenes among parents and citizens exercise good behaviors and do away with wrong ways. They called on participants to take advantage of climatic period's that attract tourist whereby they should establish tourist resorts and carryout tourism programs, such as desert racing, mountain climbing and pay to archaeological sites in historical cities, old neighborhoods within Seiyoun,Tarim and Alhjeriein
During the conclusion of the workshop that was organized by the local authority in Hadramout and Governorate in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism, with fund from the Social Fund for Development in the Province .. sent a telegram of congratulations to His Excellency / Ali Abdullah Saleh - President of the Republic and the Government on the occasion of 48 th revolution anniversary of September 26, the Eternal 47th of 14 October revolution and the glorious 43rd of November 30th our national independence .. The closing session of the workshop which was attended by the brothers Mabkhout Al-Amiri, Director General - Office of the Ministry of Tourism, Hassan Aideed, General Manager office of General Authoruty branch for the preservation of historical cities in Shibaam and coordinator of the workshop. Mr. Omaier Undersecretaryr for Wadi and sahraa Affairs streesed on the recommendations that emerged from the workshop and that it to answered many of the questions relating to the advancement of the tourism sector, noting that the task of developing tourism is everyone's responsibility and also to create awareness of tourism in the community ..
