Yemen, UAE review bilateral cooperation

Minister of Transport Khalid al-Wazir met on Sunday with the UAE Minister of Economy Sultan al-Mansouri on the sidelines of the 37th session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) currently taking place in Canada.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation fields between the two countries in various areas and means of reinforcing and developing them, specially in the fields of energy and investment.
Al-Wazir affirmed keenness of Yemen to provide facilities and support for the UAE investors to invest in Yemen in the various industrial, tourism and oil sectors.
He indicated merits of the new Yemeni Investment Law which grants many guarantees including the ownership of investment lands and customs and taxes exemptions.For his part, the UAE minister expressed hope the Yemeni-UAE Joint Committee's meetings contribute to boosting cooperation and opening new fields in the Yemeni-UAE relations.
