Al-Arhabi meets with ISFD director

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi met here on Wednesday with the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD) Bashir Omar Fadlalla Al-Arhabi and Fadlalla reviewed the some issues concerning enhancing the cooperation between Yemen and ASFD, Which is an affiliate of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
They also discussed the ASFD's activities and means to urge the member states to pay their announced shares in the fund's capital, in addition to holding talks on the possibility to raise the shares the ASFD's member states in accordance to their economic situations.
They also talked about the ASFD's desire to carry out financing activities in the member states, particularly Yemen.Yemen is the head of the current round of IDB Governors Council, which would be ended in June 2011.On the other hand, al-Arhabi met with a delegation of the World Bank (WB) visiting Yemen currently.The meeting was dedicated to discuss the current and future cooperation relations.
