Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi took part on Sunday in the annual Arab ministerial meeting held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York with the participation of Arab foreign ministers and the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas Abbas presented a detailed report over the latest developments regarding peace process on the light of the direct Palestinian-Israeli talks and negotiations as well as security and economic developments in the Palestinian territories, in addition to efforts of realizing the Palestinian reconciliation.The meeting addressed a number of issues based on decisions of the last ministerial meeting.
The Arab foreign ministers agreed to hold a meeting for the follow-up committee of the Arab Peace Initiative (API) before the extraordinary Arab summit which is scheduled to come active in the Libyan Surt city in October.
