VP visits Abyan province

Vice President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi paid a visit on Wednesday to Abyan province During his visit, Hadi got acquainted with the work in the governmental facilities and the progress in the implementation of development and economic projects in the province.
He visited Al-Wahda Factory for Cement Production, which started production in the past few months with a production capacity of 1.1 million tons per a year.Hadi was briefed by chairman of board of the factory and engineers on the basic components of the factory and the expected expansions in it in future.In this regard, he called on the national capitals to contribute effectively in investing in these industrial areas, which are fruitful and of a profitable economic return.Hadi visited the sport stadium that has been constructed and outfitted in accordance with the latest technical, engineering and sport designs in preparation for hosting the 20th Gulf Cup to be held in Yemen during next November and December.
After that, Hadi attended the meeting, which gathered members of the local councils, the executive office, women's sector, social figures, sheikhs and dignitaries and a crowd of people from Abyan province.
