Seiyoun Health and Population Department received medical equipment use in a number of health centers in the Districts The cost for these medical equipments are 6,000,493 thousand riyals, with funds coming from District local council. Director of Health and Population in the district Hussein Al-aidaroos confirmed that and equipment includes Mobile X-ray machines,laboratories, minor surgery equipment, refrigerators to store medicines, sterilization devices and other equipment. Al-Aidaroos indicated that those facilities that are seving 14 thousand citizens are Madoude, Tris and Al-ghorfah. This health centers will be furnished with these equipments by the Wadi and Sahraa District General office for Health and Population, where they will be operational early next year in 2011.
Construction work at Bour Heath center following the vacation of Eid al-Fitr, at a cost of 26,000,684 thousand riyals, with funding coming from District local council and about 5 thousand people will benefit from it. Al-gorfah central health building is ready and will be handed over in the near future. The construction was funded by the Social Fund for Development at a cost of 105 thousand and 906 dollars, he indicated that the recent completion of the restoration work at the motherhood and child Health center of Al-ehadh Zone in Seiyoun at a cost of 400 thousand riyals.
