President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas
left Yemen on Friday after
two-day visit to Yemen.
During the visit, Abbas held talks
with President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the latest developments in the Palestinian
arena and peace settling efforts in the region as well.
Abbas acquainted President Saleh
with the Palestinian situations and updates of peace process in the Middle East, in addition to efforts to realize the
inter-Palestinian reconciliation.
Saleh renewed the firm supportive
stance of Yemen
towards the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to
establish their independent state with Quds as the capital.
