UNFPA, Yemen discuss implemented projects

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Amat al-Razaq Humad met here on Saturday with the new Resident-Representative of the United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA), Mark Vandenberg.
The two sides discussed projects implemented by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor through the General Department of Child and Women with support from the UNFPA.
Talks in the meeting dealt with the support of the UNFPA, with amount of USD 50,000, for establishing a new laboratory for the project of safe and clean delivery packet in the province of Hodeidah, and efforts to set up unites for this product in the provinces, as well as supporting regulations of the health component and the gender component for the coming period.Humad confirmed the ministry's readiness to offer all facilities for the success of the Fund programs and activities.
