Japanese official praises Yemen coastguard

The technical team leader of Japanese Coastguard praised on Tuesday the advanced level of Yemen's Coastguard and its role in combating terrorism and maritime piracy to ensure the safety of Yemen's territorial waters and ports.
During a meeting of the Japanese official, who visiting the country, with the General Director of Coastguard Lotaf al-Barati, he expressed his country's willingness to provide support and technical assistance to implement the Yemeni Coastguard's plans.The Japanese team listened a brief explanation from Yemeni officials on the stages of the development of the Yemeni Coastguard and their future plans.
