Yemen has tightened security measures of monitoring and inspection on its coastlines, Ministry of Interior reported on Thursday.

Yemen has tightened security measures of monitoring and inspection on its coastlines, Ministry of Interior reported on Thursday.In its website, the ministry said that orders have been issued to the coastguard authority in Red Sea block to inspect coastlines of Mayon Island and Mukha seaport in cooperation and coordination with marine forces in order to arrest suspected boats that involve in piracy and smuggling crimes.The directives insisted on seizing any suspected boat in these coastlines to prevent it to use Yemeni regional waters, the ministry added.
