Suspected al Qaeda terrorists attack security building in Abyan

More than 20 suspected al Qaeda terrorists attacked early Wednesday the political security building in Abyan Province in south Yemen killing two security and injuring five others, local sources were quoted by the September 26 website as saying.
The attack against the building in Zunjbar, the capital, was repelled by guards and two of the terrorist suspects were killed, the state-run website said.
The terrorist band took advantage of the summer vacation attacking the building from inside a school adjacent to it, it said, adding light and medium weapons, snipers and bombs were used.
Seven suspects and the car which carried them were seized following the botched attack.
Explosive vests, masks, bombs, drugs and police uniform were found inside the car.
A hunt was launched for other suspects.
