The Chairman of the Shura Council Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani met on Tuesday with Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs Rashid al-Hamad and his accompanying delegation.
In the meeting, Abdul-Ghani welcomed the Kuwaiti official, saying that this visit came in the framework of boosting cooperation relations between the two countries.He confirmed Yemen's keenness to strengthen its relations with Kuwait in all fields.For his part, the Kuwaiti official praised the Yemeni-Kuwaiti strong and distinct relations, reviewing the cooperation aspects between the two sides, particularly in the fields of Justice, Awqaf and Islamic Affair.He said that more than 200 Yemeni imams are working in Kuwaiti mosques and 10 Kuwaiti judges study annually at the Higher Institute of Justice in Yemen.
