Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohammed Mutahar discussed on Monday with a World Bank delegation the preparations to launch Education Quality Improvement Project in Yemen in July, financed by the Bank at $13 million.
The meeting dealt with the importance of reframing the steering committee of the project as well as the committee of defining and reviewing university programs.They also reviewed needs of the Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council to start implementing their tasks.They agreed to hold a workshop to evaluate the final suggestions for programs of improving education in the universities through which those programs will get the required financing from the WB.
