Yemen, Kuwait expected to sign endowment MoU

It is expected that Yemen and Kuwait are to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in endowment field in the coming few days.
The weekly 26 of September cited well-informed sources as saying that the Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs and the Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs adviser Rashid al-Hamad is to arrive in Yemen on Saturday for this purpose.
According to the sources, al-Hamad is to hold talks with senior officials in the government to enhance cooperation and coordination between Yemen and Kuwait in areas of justice, endowment and Islamic affaires.Moreover, bringing Yemeni preachers to the Kuwaiti mosques is to be discussed during the visit of the Kuwaiti official, in addition to exchanging the two countries' experience in areas of endowment funds investment, arranging for hajj and Umrah, regulating Zakat affairs and teaching the Holy Quran, the sources said.
