Hadhramaut's Director-General Office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Dr. Al-abd Rubeyah Ba-Musa in a statement to Yemen News Agency (SABA), said that the number of confirmed infected cases of dengue fever are 630, while the number of deaths among suspected case reached ten cases..
The Director-General Office of the Ministry of Health distribution the infected cases with Dengue fever, according to age groups as follows:
* Less than five years (27) case.
* age of five years to 14 years ( 27) cases.
* age of 15 to 24 years and over 235 cases.
* age 25 to 34 years (34|) cases.
* age 35 to 44 years (38) cases.
* age 45 years old to 54 years (18) cases.
* four cases from the age of 55 to 64 years.
* two cases more than 65 years..
Director-General of Health in coordination with the relevant authorities in the fight against malaria and epidemiological surveillance are doing their best to follow these cases. Toghetr they will implement spraying programs in places where stagnant water and rural homes, surveillance and providing the necessary treatment of the infected cases which are received at the centers, hospitals and health units in the coastal District of the provuince. Also spread the word of awareness to all the citizens in every are of the districts and inform them to to follow the instructions as well as to cover all f open water so as to reduce the presence of mosquitoes in these places
