Session on supporting women participation in Parliament held

An awareness session on supporting women to reach Parliament was organized on Monday by the Cultural Development Programs Planning Foundation in cooperation with the EU.
6 societies took part in the session which aims to create social awareness on the importance of political participation of women and increase their representation in the Parliament.
The foundation's press officer Ahmed Azzourqa reviewed the foundation's goals and programs which seek to raise development and cultural awareness from various aspects.
The session also included two work papers on women rights in the Yemeni laws and women rights in Islam.
