Shura Council condemns Israeli piracy against Gaza aid flotilla

The Shura Council strongly condemned on Wednesday the acts of piracy and state terrorism practiced by the Zionist entity against peace activists in the freedom convoy ,which was heading to the besieged Gaza
The latest aggressive act of the Zionist entity was in the international waters, which was not enough to move the international legitimacy targeted by the Israelis with their terrorist acts, like targeting innocent and unarmed activists in the freedom convoy, the council said in a statement in its weekly meeting.The statement hailed the sustained efforts made by the State and the government for the return of Yemeni peace activists participating in the convoy of freedom to their homeland.In this context, the Shura Council expressed its great disappointment at the position of the Security Council, which was consistent with its previous statements towards each case the Israeli entity involved in.The Shura Council called to an Arab, Islamic and international united position to end the unjust siege on our brothers in the Gaza Strip, and stop the barbaric aggression carried out by the Israeli entity against them every day.On Tuesday, the Israeli Army Radio said 250 of the activists had been deported.It added that the release of a further 70 people was underway.Ten activists were killed and many others were injured in the much-condemned Israeli assault on the convoy on Monday.Israeli naval commandos stormed the flotilla of ships carrying aid and hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists to the blockaded the Gaza Strip on Monday, killing at least 15 and wounding dozens activists in a predawn raid that set off worldwide condemnation.
