Minister of Justice Ghazi Shaif al-Aghbari held
Monday talks with the British Team to support security and justice projects in
Yemen over the UK support for judiciary projects
During
the meeting, al-Aghbari affirmed the importance of benefiting from the British
support for judicial reforms, pointing to importance to realize objectives of
this support in the aspects of training, qualification of judges and
prosecutors concerned with terrorism, drugs, money laundering and trading, in
addition to developing of the Higher Judicial Institute and supporting the
establishment of the forensic medicine in Yemen. Al-Aghbari expressed his appreciation for the British government for providing
all support, affirming the judiciary authority will provide all facilities for
the implementation and success of the project. For their part, the UK team
pointed out the British government will provide the necessary support to Yemen in the field
of security and justice sector.
