Local sources in Saada province alerted citizens in the province against dealing with foreign currencies of the Houthi rebels or selling to or buying from rebels as they use counterfeited currencies in U.S Dollars and Saudi Riyal, the state-run 26 sept.net reported Saturday.
In the light of continuous besieging of the Houthis and cutting their supplies by security and military unites, the rebels started to counterfeit U.S Dollars and Saudi Riyal currencies to buy weapons and supplies from their supporters.The local sources indicated that foreign experts are found with rebels in Matarh region use to copy perfect money which could only discover by experts and special apparatuses that are only available in banks and money exchange shops.
