No reason was given for the team’s return flight rescheduling as it was supposed to fly back yesterday.Stars played their final match against Yemen on Wednesday when they lost by 2-1 goals, just four days after being forced to 1-1 draw with the same team.The Marcio Maximo’s trained side suffered a humiliating 5-1goals comprehensive demolition by Egypt in their first match of the Middle East tour played in Aswan on November 5.Some premiership matches involving Mainland teams who had at least five players in the Maximo’s squad were rescheduled as a result of the ad hoc sporting entourage.Mwakalebela said the match between Azam and Manyema Rangers scheduled for tomorrow at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam remain unchanged.Some Azam FC players who were featuring for the national team would join their side straight upon their arrival tomorrow morning.The Middle East tour disrupted the Mainland premier league fixtures, especially for matches involving Azam FC, holders Young Africans, Mtibwa Sugar and runaway leaders Simba.Simba host Mtibwa Sugar on Sunday while holders Yanga conclude the half season fixture to host Prisons FC from Mbeya on Monday at the same venue.Most of the Taifa Stars players would be re-assemble on Tuesday next week for joint training sessions ahead of this year’s edition of Senior Challenge Cup championship that kicks off in Nairobi on November 28.The Mainland team to be known as Kilimanjaro Stars has the bulk of players in the Taifa Stars that is supposed to include some Zanzibar players as well.
