PM opens workshop over job description

Prime Minister Ali Mujawar opened on Saturday a workshop over standards of the job description which is organized by the a project of modernizing civil services.
In the opening session of the workshop, Mujawar said that the system of the job description is one of the important systems, adding such system is not available in the human resources management. He said that the workshop within reforms taken by the government to modernize the civil services and reform the administration. The prime minister pointed out that Yemen is like other developing countries suffering from administrative problems which need for hard work to pass over all these problems. He said that step of preparation of the job description system was very important as it would reduce faults and combat corruption, asking the participants to benefit from the workshop to insure implementation of the system affectively. He also urged ministry of civil services to pay further efforts to reform the administration in the country. For his part, the deputy minister of civil services and insurance Nabil Shamsan said that the system aims at improving procedures of selecting employees and evaluating their performance. He also reviewed achievements happened in field of modernizing the civil services in the country, saying that the system of job description is one of the goals of the strategy of modernizing the civil services in the nation.
