Shamlan affirms importance to re-frame fisheries sector

Minister of Fisheries Mohammed Shamlan affirmed on Saturday the importance of re-framing fisheries sector in order to correct pitfalls in some fisheries facilities and to find out a real management coping with modern laws and systems He pointed out, during his meeting with chairman of Bross Sharla Company, the winning company of the re-framing project, that the ministry is about to issue a comprehensive services guidebook on fishing ports along the coastal line of Yemen.
Shamlan affirmed the significance of taking this guidebook into account within the process of re-framing, showing readiness of his ministry to provide all needed support and cooperation.The meeting also discussed action plan of the local team which will take part in the reframing implementation process .
