This came in the meeting of President Ali Abdullah Saleh with the U.S. ambassador Stephen Seche, the U.K. ambassador Tim Torlot, the Dutch ambassador RH Buikeman, and the Charge D'affaires of theGermany embassy Michael Reuss in Yemen The meeting dealt with the Yemeni government's plans for the coming phase which included ten priorities aiming at enhancing its abilities, ensuring employing Yemeni labor in the GCC's sates,studying the possibility of reducing the oil derivatives'support, making urgent solutions for water problems, strengthening the rule of law and going forward in the reforms process. The ambassadors voiced their satisfaction for pinpointing the priorities by the government, expressing their countries'support and the donors' support to the government's plans and the main issues treated by those plans.Saleh expressed his thanks and appreciation for the support presented by the donating countries to reform and enhance the financial, administrative and economic conditions in Yemen.On another hand, President Saleh directed to forming an executive office under his supervision and chairmanship of Prime Minister Ali Mujawar and membership of the concerned authorities in the government.The office would work on following up and executing the priorities, provided that submitting a monthly report to the president over the work progress in the priorities' implementation and the mechanism of tackling the difficulties that might face the implementation.
