Saudi official calls Arab channels to hire Yemeni qualified cadres

Saudi Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Abdullah al-Jasser called on Thursday the Arab satellite channels to hire Yemeni media cadres as they are trained and qualified .
During his meeting with the Yemeni trained journalists at the Prince Ahmed bin Salman Applied Media Institute, Abdullah al-Jasser affirmed the importance of Yemen's accession to GCC Radio and Television. Al-Jasser praised the level of media cooperation between Yemen and Saudi Arabia in various fields through distinctive relations enjoyed by both countries. Director General of the Radio and TV Institution of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdullah Saeed Abu-Ras said Yemen's accession will lead to further cooperation in the field of radio, television and various fields of production areas in both radio and television programs. Abu-Ras pointed out that the Saudi radio and TV approved Yemen will be the honor guest at the Festival of GCC Radio and TV to be held in Bahrain in 2010. Yemeni ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammed al-Ahwal affirmed the Yemen's keenness to promote media cooperation between the two countries, wishing continuation of such training courses to exchange information experiences between both countries.
