As part of Al-Ahgaff University's efforts to enhance its academic presence and collaboration with educational institutions in Southeast Asia, the College of Distance Education at Al-Ahgaff University welcomed Professor Yahya Zainul Ma'arif Jamzuri, President of Bahjah University and Institutes in the Republic of Indonesia, on Sunday, January 18, 2026, during his visit to the university.

The guest was received by Professor Zain Salem bin Aqeel, Dean of the College of Distance Education and Director of International Student Affairs at the university. A meeting was held to learn about the university's experience in e-learning and to discuss potential areas of cooperation in distance education and the exchange of academic expertise.

The meeting included an introduction to Al-Ahgaff University's e-learning system and the flexible learning environment it provides, as well as exploring ways for international students, particularly those from the Republic of Indonesia, to benefit from it.

The prospects for academic cooperation between the two institutions in the areas of joint programs and continuing education through digital platforms were also discussed. At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their interest in continuing coordination and discussed practical steps for cooperation during the next phase.
