The Governor of Hadramout, Mr. Mabkhot Mubarak bin Madi, met today in Mukalla with a number of notables from Mayfa' City in the Brom Mayfa' District. The meeting included an exchange of Eid Al-Fitr greetings and a discussion of the conditions and needs of the city and district, as part of strengthening joint efforts to improve services and meet development needs.
During the meeting, which comes within the framework of ongoing communication between the governorate's leadership and various components of Hadrami society, the notables congratulated the governor on Eid Al-Fitr, expressing their hope that the holiday will bring joy and peace to the people of Hadramout and the nation.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance basic services and overcome the challenges facing Mayfa' City and Brom Mayfa' District. The governor praised the active role of the region's notables in supporting stability and development, stressing that meeting the needs of citizens in remote districts is a top priority for the governorate's authorities. He stressed the need to address urgent service issues, such as improving electricity and water supplies, rehabilitating roads, supporting local agricultural and economic projects, and enhancing security. For their part, Mayfa'a notables affirmed their support for the governor's efforts in implementing development projects. On behalf of the district's residents, they expressed their gratitude to the governor for his interest in the district, his frequent visits, and the implementation of projects in various sectors, most notably the rehabilitation of the Mayfa'a health unit to be the nucleus of a future hospital.
They affirmed their support for the efforts of the local authority and its endeavors to serve local communities. The governor emphasized the importance of supporting vital sectors, including youth and sports, stressing that Hadhramaut's stability and development are a collective responsibility, and that concerted efforts are necessary to achieve the aspirations of its people.
