A meeting held today in Mukalla discussed the governorate's supply situation, the status of projects and public markets, arrangements for the end of the holy month of Ramadan, and preparations for Eid al-fitr.
During his meeting with the governorate's Deputy Governors for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Basarih, and Technical Affairs, Engineer Amin Barziq, Hadhramaut Governor Mubkhot Mubarak bin Madi directed field visits to control incoming products. He also directed the Environmental Sanitation Departments of the Public Works and Roads Office and the Agriculture and Irrigation Office to conduct field visits to monitor incoming products, including food and consumer goods, petroleum derivatives, and livestock, and to supervise the organization of public markets.
He also directed the competent authorities at the Ministry of Industry and Trade Office to intensify their visits to monitor prices, apprehend manipulators, and take legal action against them.
